I am hooked on this Solitaire game. This had been my favorite so far. I have played it a lot. I like that it has unlimited hints. I like that I can change the cards and background. I also like that I can choose a winning hand.
I really, really like this solitaire app. Yes it has ads but they are the short non-intrusive. For a basic solitaire game with a fun extra & hassle free with short ads, you guys have done a wonderful job with this app & think other apps might learn some things from you.
The graphics are great and easy movement of the deck. The fact you can choose back ground and playing cards front and back is an added benefit. I recommend anyone who likes ing time playing Solitaire to give this app a try. 5 star....
The primary objective is to clear the tableau of all cards, whether or not you still have cards in the Stock. When the Golf Solitaire game begins, one of the Stock cards is turned over into the Waste.
From here, you need to see if you can move one of the lower unblocked cards on the tableau onto the waste. You can only do so if it’s a higher or lower number. The suite or color doesn’t matter. That means you can move a 4 of Spaces onto any 3 or 5.
You can only churn the Stockpile once. That means that when the Stock runs out of cards, you can’t reset it. You’ll need to eliminate all tableau cards before then. Also, you can’t use empty columns to move cards around. The only place to move cards is to the Waste.
There are three main parts of the Golf Solitaire board you need to be aware of:
Golf Solitaire bears a distinction between winning and scoring. When you clear the tableau of all cards, you win. When playing with two golfers, the player with the least amount of turns in doing so is declared the winner.
Now, the sport of golf is known for its scoring technique. The same applies to Golf Solitaire. The game ends in two ways: the tableau is cleared, or the Stock runs dry. For every card left remaining on the tableau, you add one point. For every card remaining in the stock, you remove one point.
As with Golf, you play nine rounds before counting all your points. A score of 45 is par, while anything below is under par. If you have a score of zero or lower, then you’ve played the perfect game.
Use the Stock Pile Only When Needed
Since you can’t reset the Stockpile of 16 cards, use it sparingly. Try and move cards from the tableau as much as possible. This ensures the best score while also aiding in success.
Kings and Aces, Queens and Deuces
In the traditional Golf Solitaire game, you can’t move Kings onto Aces or Aces onto Kings. That means that your Queens and Deuces are vital to winning. Check the tableau for where you see them and try to release them early. Also, counting how many there are will help with your planning, as the rest will be in the Stock.
Use Cards in Both Numerical Directions
that you can move in both ascending and descending order onto the Waste. This comes in handy when you see many cards of the same range of values. If you unlock many 3s and 2s, you can bounce up and down between them to quickly clear them all.
